Modern workplaces are fast-paced, often stressful environments. Investing in employee wellbeing isn’t just a “nice to have”—it’s a proven way to improve performance, retention, and morale.
Our onsite massage can help:

- Support healthy blood pressure
- Boost overall mood and wellbeing
Even short sessions can make a noticeable difference to how your team feels and performs throughout the day.
What Does the Research Say?
Workplace massage isn’t just popular—it’s backed by growing evidence.

- Enhance alertness and cognitive performance
In fact, research suggests that just 15 minutes of chair massage twice a week can lead to measurable improvements in mental performance and workplace productivity.
Employees consistently report:

- Better focus and job satisfaction

💼 Making It Tax Efficient
We’re delighted that David from Tolvern Accountants will be contributing a guest article here, explaining how workplace wellbeing services like onsite massage may be structured in a tax-efficient way for your business.

I’ll be focusing on ‘Trivial Benefits’ these are tax free so long as there worth per employee is less than £50 they are not part of the employment contract and not as a reward for performance.
So that they are not related to individual performance we would advise that making these benefits available to all staff or specific non work-related events such as a birthday. In this case have a massage therapist available to all staff who would like to participate is ideal.
As with all things a note of caution that to be seen as incidental to the work contract we do need to have an eye on regularity, so a benefit does not become and expected ordinary/habitual part of the job.
So long as these points are met then the provision of a wellbeing cost like this will not have an adverse tax effect on your employees whilst benefiting them in all the ways detailed above. In addition to this the cost to the business will be entirely work related as it focuses on employee wellbeing making the cost of providing the benefit allowable against the trade and saving tax.
